Service Description
WDI Report is generally provided in a real estate transaction to assess property for the presence of wood-destroying insects, including termites, carpenter bees, carpenter ants, and wood-boring beetles. These specific types of pests feed on, tunnel through, and nest inside of wood structures, which potentially cause thousands of dollars in structural damage. Professional recommendations for treatment will be outlined within documented report, should there be any signs of such insects present at the time of inspection. Treatments are not included with this assessment. (WDI report available for Monmouth & Ocean Counties: $175 plus tax = $186.59) A WDI report is important in real estate transactions are not to be confused with a crawlspace inspection report. Standard report uses form NPMA-33 from the National Pest Management Association. In some cases, a WDI report may be required to obtain a mortgage from the bank.
